Shopping at Green Whimsy
Green Whimsy Sales are Consignment Sales where all of the items are brought in (and priced) by folks just like you!
Admission to Green Whimsy Sales events is free and the public sales are open to everyone. We accept cash and credit cards (due to rising costs, there is a 3% surcharge when using a credit card). Everything is 1/2 price on the last day of multiple day events!
The sale can be crowded, so please try not to bring children or strollers unless it is absolutely necessary.
What will you find?
Each event has specific categories of items that will be sold.
The categories of items that will be available at our Stamping & Scrapbooking Craft Supply Sales:
- Albums, Scrapbooks & Frames
- Art & School Supplies (includes drawing, painting, office supplies)
- Cooking & Baking
- Craft Supplies & Kits (any supplies/kits that do not fall under the other categories)
- Crafting Tools (punches, die cut machines and dies, scissors, etc)
- Jewelry & Beading
- Kids Crafts & Dolls (any crafts geared towards kids, plus doll making supplies and collectible dolls & accessories such as American Girl, Barbie, Build a Bear, etc.)
- Organizing (storage items, display items, bags, boxes, etc.)
- Paper
- Stamping (includes stamps, ink & embossing supplies)
- Stickers & Embellishments
We have now added a Yarn & Fabric Sale where you will find the following categories:
- Crocheting & Knitting
- Sewing & Needlepoint
- Jewelry & Beading
- Kids Crafts & Dolls (any related crafts geared towards kids, plus doll making supplies and collectible dolls & accessories such as American Girl, Barbie, Build a Bear, etc.)
- Organizing (storage items, display items, bags, boxes, etc.)
Crocheting/Knitting/Sewing/Needlepoint items will no longer be available at the scrapbooking & stamping suppy sales.
Shop Early
Consignors shop first. Consider selling some of your items to not only clear out some clutter and make cash - but shop first! Click the 'Sell Your Stuff' link for info about becoming a consignor and selling at our events.
Shop Early Bag owners get early shopping privileges as well. You can purchase a bag below and have it waiting for you at the sale or you can buy one at the door. Check the sale info (click the Green Whimsy logo on the left) for the 'Shop Early Bag' pre-sale times for each particular sale.
Purchase a shop early ticket. Login and click the 'My Events' link to see if any tickets are available to shop early before we open to the public either for the first day or for half price day.
Get a special shop early invitation. Be sure to join our email list (at the bottom of this page) to receive special 'shop early' coupons for many events.
Purchase a Shop Early Bag
A Shop Early reusable bag allows you to shop during the special *Shop Early Bag* presales at many of our events. See the 'Upcoming Events' page for the 'Shop Early Bag' times for each event.
You may also purchase a bag at the door during the sale time.
